This is the next stage of the Elemental project. Mark Humpage and myself spent a week in the USA chasing tornadoes. We went at the beginning of June and it was a very active period with storms almost every day. Normally in June the storm systems move slowly and are easy to chase, but this year it was different, more like May and the storms were racing across the countryside at 50 mph. This made it hard to keep up with the storms, let alone stop to film them and take pictures. Despite this on the 3rd day of the trip we intercepted a Supercell storm in Northern Iowa that produced a tornado close to the town of Carpenter. This video is a summary of that day and the following day when we drove from Iowa to Kansas for more storms. Over the 6 days that we were in the USA we drove 4,500 miles!
