New in v0.9.7, Visual3D Game Engine is the first engine and content creation tool to import animated characters from DAZ Studio *with morph target animation* - which is required for lip syncing, facial animation expresses and full animation support.
Morph animations are only correctly exported to the custom DAZ Collada .dae format (as the Autodesk .dae and Autodesk .fbx exporters do not export and the standard Collada .dae exporter is mostly unusable for them), and Visual3D is now the first and currently only application able to import this format.
Support for this enables use of the huge library of DAZ and Poser Models that DAZ has just made available for game developer use for the first time in their new Developer Marketplace (developer.daz3d.com).
This also allows use of the free DAZ Studio, tool together with Visual3D, for character building, audio lip syncing, animation, and for applying Motion Capture (MoCap) .bvh animations to characters.
