We spent 4 long weeks in Egypt and some of our most memorable times were spent at this home in Maadi. This family took us in off of the streets not knowing a thing about us. Only one of the sons spoke English and we surely didn't speak Arabic. The whole experience was so eye opening. Here's a short clip of our host Mona teaching Liz how to wrap a head scarf. We miss you guys!
