6. Playing with colors …

Thank you very much for the persons who had give their suggestions and commentaries about the first edition of my video.

In this 2nd edition, i have removed the moving screens.

I would create something with a "3D" look and feeling.

In Ulead Studio 11.5, i apply these filters: brightess, gamma correction and invert.

To give more deepness, i alternate invert and normal colors with fast faded transitions.

I think that the result is good.

Tell me what you think about this second version.

Thanks a lot ;)

Very nice. More free flowing this way.

Here's an idea for more "3d depth": perhaps a second
glass dish set behind the other, with different colors. It should be a bit softer focus, but it would give the feeling of layers of depth. Just an idea.

You've got a nice look going here. It's the same effect as watching an aquarium, just enjoyable to watch a relaxing.

I like your creative approach. Fun to watch.

I also have a new Canon (HF100), and am curious about working with Ulead Studio 11.5. How powerful of a computer are you working on, and what is your workflow? (Do you have to convert the .mts files to work with them?)

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

Hey thank you for your comments.

    SevenDog

I work on an Intel Quad 6600 at 2400 Mz. I have 2 Go of memory.

AVCHD and all video editors like Ulead or Power Director 7 or so on... ask for a solid computer!

For Ulead and Power Director (from CyberLink), we dont need to convert the .mts files before editing. The programs do the work. But i find that Power Director 7 is most powerful than Ulead Studio 11.5. He is more smooth and fast for me.

    Good luck!

Well, I've got a core 2 duo laptop with 4GB of ram. Hope that's enough to do the trick. I'm thinking of getting Ulead, but I will also check out Power Director. Thanks for the advice.

I like how you've constructively progressed your knowledge in the different editing techniques of video editing. Its a discipline so hard to follow with some people. Me especially! And I am very sure if you master this basic practise/tutorials, you will be better than so many of us here in Vimeo. And I envy you for your dexterity. Your eagerness to learn.

One could learn so much just by watching your videos. Thanks for sharing the wonderful experimental works.

Some new idea for these flowing clips. DO IT BACKWARDS! ;o)

Thank you very much for your words!

I saw some of your videos and i have the privilege to see and hear a real artist. So your encouragements are very welcome!

And for my eagerness to learn... perhaps it is due to the fact that i am a teacher in adult education and i like to learn.

Fact is: I am as new to digital video as you are!

Its the very reason why Vimeo have been exceptionally priceless for those who wants to excel in this media. Professionally or just as hobbyist.

Lastly, I am definitely no artist!
But thanks. Its a great compliment.
