Jonno and I attended a great Typecon workshop this year - Experimental Type.
It was run by three great gals:

It was equal parts Kindergarten Art Class & Design School. The gals were encouraging us to just grab some materials and be inspired by random play.

This is what I came up with on the day. Since I'm such an uptight bastard, I couldn't work without a plan and an objective. I had planned out my final outcome within the first hour. I'm happy with the final result but feel like I might have cheated somewhat - there were so many other really great pieces by the other 'students' that felt much less laboured.
