Jitra Kotchadet, the president of Triumph International Labour Union of Thailand was dismissed because of wearing a campaign t-shirt with the slogan ‘Not Standing is not a crime and Thinking differently is not a criminal’, while appearing as a guest on a TV programmed on 24 April 2008.

30 July – 13 September 2008, 46 days
2,500 union members stop working and protest Triumph Thailand. They all believe that this is an act to ‘destroy’ the union.

This 28 years union has just win their CBA on 2 July 2008. The president was dismissed on 28 July.
