Thanks, Szymon. I hope you have discovered my website created to house the circular and hexagonal videos. If you haven't it's here: theturn.tv

Thanks, I did :) it is amazing, I like it very much. I also like the main idea of moving circle that is source of sound. And about the song, it remains me a bit old ballads, I don't know if this comparison is correct but my feeling about it is quite strong :)

Amazing. You obviously give as much attention to both the audio and visual aesthetic of your work.

Thanks so much, folks! I'm glad you like the technique, Kieran. I've got a couple future projects which use this same theme that should be pretty cool. :)

oh.. wonderful works, suprising ideas.. that had to be mine! :) thank you for sharing these valuable things with us!

a question: did you write a script which automates changing opacity of video layers by sound levels? for example if one of the video is more louder than others it will appear more opaque. (or is it a new idea for you now?) :)

    Hi there, hayyal

No, actually I just held a big light just outside of the frame and that's what the percussive click sound it- me switching the light on and off. All the effects were made in the camera and composited simply in AfterEffects. 6 Separate takes with no corrections. nightmare! :)

Nicely done, Fredo. I'm confused by the shaky camera. Was the camera mounted on a shifting surface, or did you just add a wiggle to your comps in AE? Regardless of how it was achieved, the hand-held camera effect was a nice touch.

ok, so here's the thing... I locked down my camera, and tried really hard to stay perfectly still as I sang. But there's no way to stop the body from moving when it performs. So inevitably certain rhythms came through. What I did was convert those rhythms from my body to the frame by using AfterEffects to anchor the placement of my right nostril. This made the nostrils of all 6 voices stay in place, while the world moved around them! And then after compositing them right on top of eachother, the faces stayed sharp where they are similar, and the background gets blurry as it's moving in the 6 frams. :)

To me it's really important that all effects are created by the creation of the music in these videos. That's why I'm satisfied with this one (although in retrospect I think I could have created some more patterns in the last verse.)

wow, Stas, thanks so much for listening to the words. I don't often write with words, a great deal of my music is sung in gibberish, but when I do I usually try to really put a lot of thought into it, so it's nice to get a comment on that. :)

Thanks everyone else for the encouragement. I have to admit, it really does mean a lot to me.
