Filmed with Aiptek A-HD+ 1080P Camcorder at 720p 60FPS. The difference between 30 and 60 FPS is clear to me and I MUCH prefer the life-like quality of 60FPS.
I was really surprised at the quality of this cheap HD cam. The ability to record at 720p 60 frames per second is amazing to me. Even if it's not truly 60fps and only UP TO....it still really looks good to me. And that's what baffles me - the fact that most of the pro-sumer HD camcorders that I'm considering (Canon HF10 and Sony HDR-SR11) do have 1080i 60FPS, but NOT 720 PROGRESSIVE at 60 FPS. Yet this little Aiptek does. Maybe there's something I'm not understanding
But, for me, it's downfall is it's severely limited low-medium light performance. In the evening with two lamps on in the living room, it's too dark and unusable.
I need good low light performance, therefore I will have to return this. But with good light, and for the price, it's very impressive, IMHO.
