Quick n dirty review of my new DSLR rig from Express35 - I basically wanted something like a Redrock Micro Captain Stubling - a hand held rig that could accommodate a follow focus. I looked around found Express35 through Cheesycam.com. This is what Chris at Express35.com came up w/ and it's pretty damn close and for a whole lot less - when I add a DFocus, I'll be still be at only a little more than 1/3 the price of the Redrock rig. I'm going to swap out the grips and add a QR plate - unfortunately, my Manfotto 323 RC2 won't fit because of the lock mechanism on the bottom. I'm pretty stoked w/ this rig and I'm looking forward to putting it through the paces.
