Umm, I think I filmed for around 1.5hrs - 2hrs. That's usually how long I would do one of these for but I can't quite remember since I filmed it so long ago.
hey carlos a, you beat me to the the punch i was just going to resound WOW! i was told that these flowers close up each night like this and that each day they do the same thing. wonder if the d200 or even d300 would do even more rich? especially since the 300 is a cmos which i'm told gets richer colors. not sure.
Hey Dr. Dimento, have you seen the new Canon 5D? If anyone is in the market right now for a DSRL that would be the one I'd get - the image is super rich on that camera along with excellent low-light abilities. What camera are you use now?
Carrotkid, for video i have an xha1 and two dvx100b's but going to sell both the latter for another a1 and then pick up an hv30 for the third camera for those few occasions where i need the 3rd cam PLUS use the hv30 as a deck :o)
on stills, i use a nikon d200 or d300 but like you i would love to have a canon 5d mkii and IF i can get my hands on one to try out the video portion of that camera i might venture into one wherein i'd move from nikon to canon and be 100% canon :o)

You've got a D60 right? Does that camera do timelapse?
