What started as a simple project to promote the Justice Conference turned into a larger than life piece of sidewalk art. On the weekend of July 16, Paul Crouse, a student at Moody Bible Institute, used chalk and pastels to transform an original Benjamin Edwards photograph into a 20' x 15' mural on asphalt. 12 hours of drawing and 2,130 photos later, we captured "The Sun is Rising"
After the mural was complete, Micha Bournes, a spoken word artist and graduate of Moody Bible Institute, was so moved by the artwork he wrote and recorded the spoken word piece to capture the spirit of Isaiah 58: 10-12.
