Scenes from Girl Talk @ Studio B
This was my fourth Girl Talk show, and the largest by 3 or 4 times. The first time I saw him was at this bar called The Depot in Baltimore, with maybe 30 other people. I didn't even know who he was, he just started playing.
His songs are like super-mashups. Each song has bits from maybe 12 or 20 different songs from several genres (pop, hip-hop, indie rock, classic rock, etc). It's a winning formula, sort of makes you say, "why didn't I think of that?". I guess that's how a lot of good ideas work, though.

That looked like an awesome time, girls without bras, sweaty people, good tunes, mmm...not much of that going on here...:(.
Here is a pic from the Depot.

plus since he is just doing stuff with his laptop it's really hard to tell what he is doing on stage really or if the whole show is planned ahead.
but since he encourages people to party and it works it's fine...
If you know some good revolutionary bands maybe you could link us to their websites.
Good tunes are good tunes are happy times are all smiles are funky ... beep boop beep etc.
one band i would like to recommend is the jai alai savant from chicago. nice mix of different styles played live...
