MegaCar!
Ok does anyone remember back in 1998 or so when there was a little flash website that offered a modified Mercedes-Benz with (aside from the usual lowered, rims, exhaust, and other engine goodies) featured mobile internet, a computer for every passenger, video conferencing, and it had a bullet-proof option? No? Anyone?
MegaCar.com though the site no longer exists was probably one of the most obnoxious Flash-driven (you could choose HTML as well) web sites around. Remember when everything on a website was a button and anywhere you moved your mouse a sound effect or voice would scream, "Click Me!!" ?? Or in MegaCar.com's case, it would scream (in a cheesy wussy sorta Monster Truck voice), "MegaCar!" or "About!" or "Photos!" or "Interactive!" you get the point.
Anyway - this little piece was intended for a class project editing in Adobe Premiere (when it was available on the Mac) and I decided to throw something together that was splashy and hopefully equally as obnoxious as the web site. This was my first time doing any kind of motion graphics, so it sucks and I still suck at doing motion graphics. I stole all the photos from the megacar.com web site and recorded the voice saying, "Megacar" off my computer.
MEGACAR!
EDIT: Noticed that Flash isn't handling the rate of the video or something like that. There are parts where there should be cuts every frame and those frames are being lost. oh well.
