Robin and Julia directed these visuals for Natasha Khan early 2010. This is a short edit of around 20 mins of footage produced. They were projected behind her singing with a string quartet, it was ace.

The song is 'Siren Song'

love this! pls tell us how you edited the geometrics in there! :)
  • Treat plus 1 year ago
thnks very much, the process was to take a lot of stop motion photography, animate the geometric elements by hand on a lightbox, then scan and composite them with after effects
  •
  • bucle 1 year ago
thanks for your answer Treat! this means you first printed every single photography and matched it with the lightbox drawings/figures without any photoshop primary? I'm just asking, cause I wanted to do my skilled labour about some of your artworks:)
  • Treat plus 1 year ago
Not quite, the photos were never printed they were just uploaded to the computer. Then we animated all of the geometric shapes and arranged them within artificial layers that we created in the photographs using Photoshop and After Effects
