Jan, do you happen to have the Rode VideoMic? I wonder if the front end of this mic shows in the view with the .3x lens when the mic is attached to the HD1000 shoe.

Interestingly I think the guy who gave the name Xacti to this new breed of cam might very well have been Indonesian. "Sakti" in Indonesian language means "Supernatural" or "Magic".

Thought I share that with you Jan.

Thank you great! I would be happy to visit Amsterdam 080808! Thank you for your attention and inspiration! But I still do not know what will be the fate of this film in terms of producers. I would certainly be happy to share their impressions of these shootings. But, perhaps, I will be in the other shootings at the time of your meeting... :(

I'm looking forward to the new Xacti 1010. I think this tool will spur more film-like creativity. Slomo in the hands of the masses. Slow motion was one of the most expensive things to shoot. The sheer quantity of film stock, processing, printing, equipment (sometimes special operators) and even excess lighting and all that requires. I want to retune my brain to observe all the possibilities of free 300 frame shooting! Jan thanks for the lens info.
