    Ice is either very easy to learn or you are insanelly intelligent.

    thiago Costa: the man here just emulated a ray tracer. This is how mental ray and such render objects, it throws many rays to evaluate color and position at a given point it then projects that information on your screen. "A rendered Picture from a 3D object". why? what for? in my opinion he's just practicing ice. No need for another raytracer. but hey! i wish i could manipulate ice like that... Beautifully done Andreas .

  • ICE is indeed pretty easy to grasp. It helps if you have minimal programming background I guess. Still, nice environment for learning if you don't.

    How do you get color shading from objects?
    i´m trying to get colors from hit surface, considering illumination.
