Dan, this is a fantastic short. Great story and the acting was really strong. Loved the editing style with the flashback/forward almost within real time in the same scene. Would have like to have seen more of it carried through out actually.

Btw, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but you can set the shutter speed to 1/60 or 1/120 to avoid the fluorescent CMOS flicker that happens the back rooms. Its an ntsc thing.

Expand it into a feature.. Have said plans?

I thought this short was amazingly shot, well done. Very creative. My favorite was the scanning booths laser shot when the old man was entering his tickets, very awesome!
I also love the subtle "hand it over John McCain" reference haha.

nice! the climax gave me the chills. i loved the editing style too, like blake mentioned, jumping back and forth almost in real time. i was nervous at first because it seemed to open with a few indie clichés (lotto ticket, store hold-up) but you added your own flavor and kept me glued to the screen! great job

Incredible! I liked it a lot.
But I wonder, shouldn't stuff like this, being full of swears and graphical imagery, be given a little warning of some kind to keep little fellows (or people not interested) out? I wouldn't like how it would feel for a young girl getting to watch this thinking it's another 'cute' short film.
