40. Mols in July...
Mols is a region just east of Aarhus, Denmark - on the peninsula of Jutland. In many ways, the landscapes here are typical of what you'll see on a drive through Denmark.

I'm now officially on vacation (even though that means looking after my brother's machines for a few days) :) My brother is self employed and has a couple of Rapid Prototyping machines in his garage. He's on vacation too, so I make a little extra money and get to use his car...

Magic Bullet Looks

Music is by one of my all time favorite artists, Danish jazz bass player, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen. He's maybe better known as NHOP or 'The Dane with the never ending name'. He's no longer among us but his music will stay with me forever :)

It makes me want to visit your country.
Beautifully shot. I don't know if it's me, but some of the landscape shots look like they're tilted to the right a degree or two.
Otherwise, nice combination of pacing and music.

Great Stuff! I love what you can accomplish with the combination of lenses, the lens adapter and the video camera.

The location is beautiful, the time of the day perfect and the music is great. The color palette is very, very nice. My wife and I were transported to this incredible place.

I love the golden colour of the corn, did you use a preset in MBL? The jetty at 00:40 is really nice, great contrast.
  • [ PIXEL VIKING ] plus 1 year ago
    Hi Greg

Thank you. This was a self made one. I used 'Contrast', 'Color filter', 'Curves' and '3-way color corrector'.
  • Greg Wallis 1 year ago
You made a good job of it, then. Do you use the "secondary" colour correction n Vegas Pro much?
  • [ PIXEL VIKING ] plus 1 year ago
No, I never used the colour correction in Vegas.

:) Denmark is the world's largest producer of grain (per capita, that is). Wheat fields are something that we have plenty of.

Yes, this was magic bullet looks - manual settings (not a preset).

I can highly recommend the software even though it's quite pricy.

How do you eject the camera from your pc? there are two cables. the USB and the other one for the Akku. And there's no "eject" option/button or something. Do you allways just pull the usb plug out or what?
  • [ PIXEL VIKING ] plus 11 months ago
Yes, I pull the USB cable and wait for the LCD screen to return to the "clip viewer". I then pull the power (akku) cable and turn off the camcorder...

I think there is something in the manual about the 'right' way to do this...

I'm seriously thinking about the Letus Mini, but I have to see some more clips when it's hand held.

DF ville elske den video. Ej, jeg driller bare, men det er det er rigtig nok det idylliske Danmark. Ret godt fanget der hvor de tre børn og deres far læner sig forover på broen.

    Very nice :)
