thank you. my favorite decision in the sound process was to slow down the voices without changing the pitch. when voices are pitched down they stop sounding human and start sounding hilarious. this way we're just speaking more slowly in our normal tones.

thanks, the only FX was slowing it down. the echo is diegetic.

actually that's not entirely true. i just found out that my method of slowing down audio adds echo. :)

Oh? and what method is that- I get a little echo as well when I slow sound down but this seems to sound like a reverberation...

i slowed it down in Quicktime Player with the A/V controls and recorded the audio into Pro Tools. then i exported that file and brought it back to iMovie and slowed the video based on the length of the audio. Quicktime surprisingly maintains the audio pitch when slowing down video, iMovie lowers the pitch. Quicktime also adds that cool echo. :)
