290 The Fourth Generation-walking across the bridge of faith
Exo 20:5 You are not to bow down to them or serve them; for I, Adonai your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
Exo 20:6 but displaying grace to the thousandth generation of those who love me and obey my mitzvot.
In today’s message Adonai wants to speak with us about this and our generations. About what your personal role is, and how that choice affects all the people around you. Are you going to go along with the faith based errors your parents and grandparents made? Or did they even make any spiritual errors that you know of? The question is how does Adonai see it? Are you the generation that by Adonai’s own words can come back to worshipping Him (V5)? How are you to know that answer?
Today we are going to look at what it means to stand strong for His word. To understand you have come back from the dead and total devastation and destruction. To have knowledge that the Lord calls some of us cowards, timid, fearful. What that means if He has put that designation on you. What it means to get rid of that title coward, timid, fearful and to get a new name. We live in a stubborn, rebellious, adulterous unfaithful generation. There will be confrontations inwardly and outwardly to changing what is not of God in your life. There will be sighs of frustration in our lives but remember keep your eyes on the prize. Learn the keys of faith to cross that bridge and get to Adonai’s side.
