Beautiful shots Gunnar, as always. It truly is a fairytale country you live in! I think the waterfall around 02:08 is my favorite shot.

    Takk maður
Hérna er linkur á græjuna, mæli samt ekki með henni, mjög erfitt að ná þessu smooth. Ætla að fá mér næstu týpu fyrir ofan.

Beautiful shots! Visited Iceland first time ever 1,5 month ago and recorded as much as I could for 2-3 days/nights, and I am definitely coming back for a longer stay :) (And a bunch of my shots are from the same places as yours... :D)
  • Would be cool to see some of your footage, Sami. Do you have any of it edited?

I'm afraid of visiting this country; because if I do, I might never want to leave
  • That's exactly how I feel when I watch Gunnar's clips -- I watched Beowulf & Grendel like four times, and I still couldn't get enough of the scenery! And those cute little horses!

    Wonderfull work here, Gunnar!
  •
  • Gunnar, the final sequence -- I know you won't give away your secrets -- but was it accidental, or you'd seen the bubble rising, and zoomed in? Just. Extraordinary. You are so talented!

Are those trails open to the public, or you have to get a special permit to hike along some of them because the natural features along those paths are protected by the park reserve or the government?
  • Gunnar Konradsson pro 1 year ago
    Thank you Adam.

The place where i took the final shot is at Geysir, it spews out hot water every 5-10 minutes. These trails are open to everybody and are easily located.
  • Thanks for that Gunnar!

After all, what happens? I am enrolled in VIMEO, I log as I always did, but now I can not download the videos.
Someone can explain what's going on?
I do not know how I can contact VIMEO to report this problem.
    Thanks for the help.
(I used the translator TRADUKKA, because I do not know English)

  • Justin Kane plus 1 year ago
    I must go there.
  •
  • Amazing landscapes, wonderfully captured!!
  •
  • This is awesome, congrats! Wat kind of camera slider are you using. Are you alone or with a crew to help you? Do you have to hike to these locations or are they on the roadside? Tell me more about the overall logistics of doing such a shoot. I think Iceland is the most beautiful country in the world and I'm thinking on spending a few weeks there next year…
  • Gunnar Konradsson pro 1 year ago
The slider i used is indisystem.com/products/indislider_mini
and in most the shots im just alone. Some of the shots are taken in the highland of Iceland, and there you would need a 4x4 vehicle.

    Hi, Gunnar.

I love your work. It makes me want to visit your country.

Your shots are beautifully photographed and you have great timing. It´s also great the way the sound track set up the mood of your films.

Wow!!!! Lets do a deal Gunnar. You come here to Western Australia where its warm and flat and I'll go over to your place where its cold and hilly.

  • Sami Sinervä plus 1 year ago
Hi Gunnar, I have to ask, what picture profile have you used? Flattened, standard or something else?
  • Gunnar Konradsson pro 1 year ago
I have a custom setting, where i take down the contrast and the sharpness of the image.
  • Sami Sinervä plus 1 year ago
I have a similar these days. I used to go with the all flat, both contrast, sharpness all the way down and saturation to 1/4th, but I've had problems restoring the saturation in post so I rather have some more from the beginning.

  • Beautiful and magic! A true moment of Zen.
