After the excitement of the Austin's American Idol auditions simmered down, Evan Webber of Cameron, TX was the only Idol hopeful still at the Frank Erwin Center late Wednesday evening. While he was waiting for his ride home, I got to chat with Evan about his experience the past few days and what auditioning meant to him personally. He even performed his audition piece, Sam Cooke's "I Was Born By The River."
