1 John 4:7,8 teaches us that God is Love and His highest calling for us is to love Him and others. When we love, we demonstrate that God is in us and we are in Him. When singing this song with kids, have them all turn to the peron on their right and place their hands on the person's shoulders and give them a shoulder rub. Everytime you sing the word "love" or "loves" have them turn and face the person on their left and give them a shoulder rub. This gets going back and forth pretty fast and the kids love the interaction with each other.
