This is a favorite local area we walk in New Zealand, on the south side of Rabbit Island along the estuary,
I was trying out a wide and tele converter as well as a polarizing filter on my Canon HF10, I found that for the reflections the polarizer made very little difference and removed it after the snow capped mountain shot. I also tried out a bubble level I took out of a spirit level, and held it on the top of the fold out LCD to see if it would help keep a panning shot horizontal, with limited success, I got some marks on the wide converter that also spoiled the shot.
On the tele converter shot of the bird there is a lot of masking at the side of the frame when I zoomed out, something to remember not to do.
