In 1997, the Primm-Halpern family traveled to Cambodia to adopt our daughter Samay, whose name means imagination and creativity in Khmer - the language of Cambodia.

My love for Samay motivated me to start a one-person NGO to support disadvantaged children in Cambodia. In additon to rasing money for programs, I also travel to Cambodia twice a year to assist the programs that CCAN helps to fund.

This has been a life changing experience. I invite anyone to come with me to Cambodia.
