This is the final episode of the Countdown to Surgery series. Thanks for sharing my mini journey with me! You helped manage the stress along the way.
The surgeon will be messing with my innards tomorrow anywhere from one to three hours. After I'm all buttoned up, I'll spend two nights in the hospital, then home for the rest of my recovery.

you guys sound identical! i love it!
feel better, and if it hurts a lot to sit up, i found rolling out of bed rather than sitting up worked much better and was much less painful. i had a skin growth removed that actually was rooted in my fat tissue so they had to cut pretty deep and take a big chunk of skin with it. in the end they had to stretch my skin quite a bit to close the incision so sitting up was agony. but yea, i was rolling out of bed, rolling out of chairs, onto the floor, and pulling myself up from the hands and knees position. it was pretty ridiculous and a few people got a big kick out of it, but it works! i should make a video to demonstrate, haha. and you're right, i definitely wish i had a better camera when i was going through all that bullshit.
