This is a bit of an experiment. Since the star movement/Perseids timelapse didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, decided to try a different approach.
This is created from 158 input images. Layered them together one at a time, adjusted layer blend modes, saved each file out then loaded the entire sequence into Vegas.
Took 3 days to complete all the input files manually. It could probably be done as a script in PS but I'm not a code writer so asking me to write code is like asking a used car salesman to be honest.
Final tweaking in Lightroom. Loaded the 156 images in at 12fps and rendered out at 12fps to create the roughly 13 second clip. The red streaks are airplanes. There are some Perseids but they're too difficult to see.
Loading more stuff…
Hmm…it looks like things are taking a while to load. Try again?
