Lee Family Portait
I got together with my family and my brother I hadn't seen in eight years. Shot my own family portrait to see how it would turn out. I hope I didn't copy Jared too much :)
I used a Pentax 50mm with the f stop wide open so some shots have a pretty shallow DOF.

Bracken James Batson 1 year agoI really enjoyed this! ...There was one person who was the only person you showed who was talking during the shot both times...is that her personality; always talking? LOL -
RNG35 1 year agoYeah man, she wouldn't stop talking. If there had been any footage of her not talking I would have used it. -
Daven 1 year agoWhat camera did you use for this? -
RNG35 1 year agoDaven. I used the Canon XHA1 and a Pentax lens with the RNG35 35mm adapter. The Pentax brought in some great color and details. -
Daven 1 year agoMost excellent. I have my sights set on that camera. The RNG35 adapter is next on my list... -

elholandes 1 year agoI am waiting for 3ccd chip HD cams in the price range of the HV30, because I miss sharpness on the hv20/30 cams when used with 35 mm adapters. -
RNG35 1 year ago3ccd is the way to go. I traded in my Gl2 a while back for the HV20 and I regretted it later becasue of the manual control and ranges of the color that could be brought in. Then I got the XHA1 finally and now I get the best of both worlds.
