"Miasma" is a standard definition movie I made in the spring of 2008. It won first place in the first ever Mississippi College Independent Film Festival. It was a throw back film to the old film noir and detective films of the 1950's. It was one of my first big original films to make.
The film follows Lana Walker (Laura Leigh Bingham) as she tries to figure out how her husband, Mack (Zack Green), died on his last private eye case. As she tries to uncover these secrets, we get to see Mack's last days unfold.
I made this film when I was still trying to teach myself how to make movies. Because of this, it is not as strong technically as my more recent work. Also, the camera I used was not very good. Still, this movie was a big milestone for me and has a special place in my heart.
Enjoy it for what it is worth.
