Alex Filippenko - astrophysicist and professor of astronomy at the University of California - gives some "unsolicited advice" on the last day of class to the 800 students that attend his introductory Astronomy course at Berkeley.

In this clip Professor Filippenko gives this advice to everyone, from the summit of the tallest mountain on the planet - Mauna Kea - which is home to Keck, the world's biggest astronomical observatory.
