great body of work. have you messed with shooting any 24p? What do you edit on? Are you using a 35mm adapter?

Hey thanks man! I did shoot my Bumping Lake video in 24p, but putting things in slow motion with it kind of hurt the images a little bit, so I'll wait to use it when I don't have slow motion shots, haha. I edit on Sony Vegas. I have Final Cut Pro, but it's an awkward program to me. I am making a short film right now and promised the crew that I'd edit it on Final Cut, so more stuff that I do will be cut on there. I wish I had a 35mm adapter, but can't afford one right now. I just messed with color grading and contrast/brightness. Thank you for the comment!

Well you definitely have some impressive stuff for not having an adapter. If you look on youtube for "DIY 35mm adapters" you can find some stuff that you can make for really cheap, and looks pretty decent. Yeah, you definitely dont want to shoot in 24 if you are going to do slow motion. What do you not like about final cut?

Final Cut takes twice as long for me to do something when I can do it in Vegas really quickly and effectively. I'm not really a big fan of Macs, but I'm started to get more involved with them. Maybe once I use Final Cut on my next short film I'll feel more at ease about it, haha.

awsome work. I really need a new computer with quad-core capabilties. my Dell is 5 years out dated and theres really no way for me to edit HD video. I have Sony Vegas pro 8 that i purchashed but still is pointless to have on my computer if I can't edit HD video. I have sooo much footage racked up right now and I'm trying to edit them all before the year is ended. Nice clips my man, keep it up.

hey! very nice video! At one point, there is a plane flying by, and it has a nice 4 cross flare on it, as the sun hits it.
is this 4cross filter built in the camera?

the 4cross flare is, when very bright areas like the sun and reflections of the sun make these shiny stars...
but as you have never heard of that, i think it must be built in the cam :) xD

I have to ask- For making movies online what settings would you advise on the camera?

And also, on the cameras screen it looks pixelated and a little fuzzy at times...

That was really beautiful. I love what you can do with that little camera. Do you recommend the HV30 over the HF11 or HF10? Or do you have an opinion. The reason I ask, is I'm looking to buy a camera that I can put an adapter on, just don't know which direction to go. Curious if you have an opinion.

I love what you did with just the camera alone. I can't wait to get one.

Hey thanks! I haven't had any experience with the HF11/10, so I couldn't tell you which I like more. All I know is that the HV30 is a little miracle camera that has opened a lot of doors for me. I definitely recommend for everyone to get one.
