In the summer of 2010, some of us organized a free reading series on the streets of Provincetown MA where we read self-defined "feminist classics." People brought their own texts or read from books. Among those we read were poets and writers Adrienne Rich, June Jordan, Simone de Beauvoir and Audre Lorde, Mark Doty and Richard McCann, bell hooks and Judith Butler. It was great.
