If you get the Firefox 4 beta, you can have it now :)

  • For those who like Panorama, there's Raskin for Macintosh which uses a similar approach to lay out all your relevant files and folders on a single, flat surface. Check out: raskinformac.com

This is going to bring so much more organization to tabbed browsing. Thank you FireFox.

Thumbnails are useless and only take up space, if they are only a blurred blob of tiny text and colors.

A better solution would be to improve what a thumbnail can show, and arrange them according to bookmarks, history and level of activity.

ctrl+space is a horrible choice for hot keys because that is the standard hot key for turning on IMEs on most systems. Even if you can change the key bindings, having that as default will screw over a lot of less advanced users who doesn't use a latin alphabet based language.

Why do you need to create a new group when you drag out a tab from a group? Can tabs live without group/window? It seems to be a cool gesture but quite useless and definitely not discoverable.
I don't know really well Panorama, am I missing something? Why not creating the group automatically when a tab is dropped off?
