We really liked this song by Spoon ("Nobody Gets Me But You"), the piano and the bass, and almost as a joke I said we should do it as our first dance.

We collaborated with The Center for Contemporary Dance (in Orlando) to choreograph the piece for us. It took 2 months of rehearsals.

You learn a lot about a person through dancing with them -- frustration and conflict arrise, and some of your deeper flaws are revealed. Thankfully we were able to see each other like that, and be patient, and forgive.

Also, I was not in shape for this. I was dying afterward.
