In July and August 2010, ten Swansea post-graduate students from the schools of Medicine, Human and Health Sciences and Arts and Humanities travelled to Gambia to carry out a research project looking at health in the context of international development.
This multi-disciplinary project considered the inter-dependency between malnutrition and broader environmental and development issues. Working alongside students from the University of Gambia, the project was developed directly in line with the UN Millennium Development Goals, specifically MDG 8 – A Global Partnership for Development.
This is a short film documenting this innovative pilot-project.
