I’ve watched most of your work now, and its good to see you’re using some kind of camera support in this footage – hand held work has its place of course, but I find its much easier on the eye if the image is steady.
Because you enjoy catching the moment, maybe some kind of Steady cam would be ideal … I’ve just recently bought from India a flycam 3000 with arm brace, and it does a very good job with a little practice, and its ideal for following the action.
To gain the very best results from the GZ-HD7 you’ve really got to get into creative `manual` control … auto mode sadly lets this camera down, but control the aperture/shutter and brightness and a whole new level of quality opens up – in fact the HD7 starts to look like a much more expensive semi pro HD cam.
You live in a county full of wonderful filming opportunities Kaushik, and I plan to visit sometime in the future to catch some of your counties beauty for myself – the creative possibilities there are almost endless my friend.
Before I go, I’d like to say `thank you` for your time and effort in viewing my work. I’m not as prolific as you at present, but I will catch up.
Overall you’re very good at catching the moment, and every shot has a wonderful cultural feel … fantastic!
Kindest regards
Chris
I am glad you like it, you are right India is wonderfull country!
Indeed you are right HD7 gives stunning result in manual controls, I just love those controls & focusing ring, they are just fantastic!
And its true I never used tripod for my work, but would like to use soon!
I love colours of HD7, it is because of 3CCD! Full marks to JVC for this beauty!
