BY MEAGEN VOSS
Studying human behavior is pretty hard because many times you can’t get a person to act naturally in a lab. But scientists at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina have a new solution to that problem—they use virtual reality. Intern Edition’s Meagen Voss experienced the cutting-edge scenarios that neuroscientists are using to test human emotions. Listen as she experiences a stress test in a virtual kitchen, encounters virtual snakes in a fear study and interviews the scientists behind it all.
