it's all about how the good guy always has great hair and never gets it messed up... even when a monkey places something on their head! This should be a standard in all movies... like how walking away from an explosion in slow motion without looking back is a "tough guy" thing =)

Wonderful Camera work and Animation! Great use of music and story flow! If you don't mind my asking, what was your production schedule like? How long did this take you from script to Final Cut? A huge part of me wishes I could have gone to Ringling, but I do have a friend that goes there now. I wish you the best! Brilliant work!

thank you! I'm so glad you liked it!

The initial pitch happened around March of 2009, but during the summer we kept reboarding the story and redesigning the characters.
Production for the movie started at the end of August 2009.
We Modeled the characters in three weeks, as we translated the new boards into a new animatic, we then rigged the characters and did the layout for the whole movie in other 5 weeks, we then animated for 8 weeks and as we finaled the camera movements we modeled and textured the sets.
During Christmas break we polished the animation, We master lit and finaled the textures for the sets. When we went back to school we kept polishing the animation, surfaced the sets, set dressed the shots and we lit and comped all the shots at the speed of light.

By the 1st of April, the movie was finished.
