The schooner Northerner lies in 135 feet of water about five miles south of Port Washington Wisconsin. She capsized and sank in a gale in 1868. Today she lays on the bottom upright like a classic ship wreck. One of her masts lies across her deck and her holds still contain a cargo of cord wood. A great dive into history!
