I was recently in London and did some filming to test out the Canon HV30, all unplanned, hand-held and shot on the move.

The footage was shot at 25p and slowed to half time in After Effects using Pixel Motion to see what kind of results it produced. It does a pretty good job, but some obvious artefacts are present, and nowhere near as good as just shooting 50i then conforming to 25p.
