Additional Info: This was originally conceived as a high school senior project for learning Flash and was only supposed to be about a deer trying to cross a road. I thought it would be cool to add a bit about two bees trying to kiss. Since I was new to Flash and I'm not a cartoonist, the bee portion took way longer than planned so I didn't go farther than that.
Five years later while in a history of animation course, the professor gave us an option of creating an animation piece for credit. I figured it would be a good time to finish this project. Since I developed a keener eye for detail, I redid the entire thing from scratch in order to add multiple layers and better coloring effects, which added much needed depth to the very flat original.
Since the deer portion was fully realized way after the bee portion, there is a distinct difference between the two.
The version you see now literally took days of work (I think a total of 60+ hours). I lost much sleep and much needed study time for this class and my other ones, but c'est la vie.
