The aim was to create an animatic for a promo that told a different story to the generic interpretations of Dylan's song whilst remaining faithful to his lyrics. It was an opportunity to re-appropriate his lyrics into a modern day context.

The outcome was to tell four short stories (one for each verse) about people who had personal problems that they wanted to be free from. For us a rolling stone is a good thing, and would represent freedom (as the saying goes, 'A rolling stone gathers no moss') rather than the common interpretation that a 'rolling stone' is out of control.
