Made with Processing. Audio by Alpha (A Perfect End). Using a Lemur to control the visuals. Just got it yesterday so I am still learning the ropes. Trying to make templates that would make using it as a VJ tool as easy as possible.

Hooray! I've been trying to find clips of the Lemur online for ages now. Finally a good one! The only time i've ever seen one is for audio processing, but this! This is amazing, what a brilliant idea. I wish you lots of luck VJing.
    Very cool clip aswell...more!

I think it is fixed now; have you had any luck in the past 24 hours?
  • flight404 plus 3 years ago
Nope. Still nothing. Do I need to redo my prefs?

WOW. Those visuals are absolutely amazing!

I've always wanted to use a Lemur for my wild and crazy MAX/MSP projects, but was never able to justify the cost. That certainly hasn't stopped me from lusting after one :)

It's like finger painting with an intangible. So cool.

Can you provide some purchase data on the equipment?
  • flight404 plus 3 years ago
If you are in the US, you can get purchase info from here too:

Reminds me a bit of a couple of the experimental user interfaces I've seen in the past couple of years. One was an RFID-based system which uses RFID-enabled tiles on a detection grid where different tiles have different capabilities that can be combined on the grid to link their capabilities.
The other was a projection-based system where the interface is projected from above onto a surface where you then use a control stone and fingers to manipulate various settings.
If I can find links, I'll come back.
