Run, Pharm Boy, Run!
Is it normal to run a marathon... as a warm up?
"Run, Pharm Boy, Run!" is a short documentary profiling Charles Wickersham, pharmacist and ultrarunner, as he undertakes the San Francisco One Day race. The One Day is a 24 hour race run annually at Crissy Field next to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
Charles races in support of a charity called "Teens Run Modesto" which helps local teens learn and grow through training for a marathon. For more information, please visit their website at:

1 year ago Great video. As a filmmaker and long distance runner I really enjoyed this piece. I want to do the Comrades Ultra in South Africa some day. Hope I have as good a film crew as you guys when I do that. -
Michael Omonua 1 year agoThis is great, reminded me of the Murakami book: What I Talk About When I Talk About Running! -
It Donned On Me 1 year agoThanks - it's funny, I'm a huge Murakami fan and have that book but somehow didn't make that connection until your comment. Probably some subconscious influence there! -
