For most of us, the soporific drone of a workplace is hardly worth mentioning. Monday thru Friday can be very unchanging with the mundane tasks of a full-time job. However, some offices offer a pleasant reprieve in the form of ping pong and/or foosball tables, video game systems, gyms, cafeterias, etc. but in my case it’s windows.
Windows allow me to see all the stupid things people do when they think no one is looking. They offer light to spaces that would otherwise be dark. They let in the cool breeze or keep it out. Windows give us great distractions—and some of the best inspiration—in the workplace.
