This was very cool, Clarence. I love the part where the feet with the brown sandals pause and turn around. Curious how that break in the rhythm of the traffic carries emotion (at least for me), which then carries into that beautiful quote at the end.
  • 'preciate that, Ben. I was hoping the quote at the end didn't "cliche" the piece at the end. The entire edit centered around this particular moment (and I was hoping to make it hit how I felt when I saw it).

Another mellow moment from you. I like the pausing brown sandals too. I also smile when the dog walks across the frame.

Another job well done. Even though I was sitting beside you as you filmed this, I wasn't ready for what you put together. Keeping telling these stories!
  • What is funny to me, is watching it, knowing the conversations you and I were having while this was being filmed. Stories on top of stories. It is crazy what you find when you single out just one of them to tell.

The brief flast, and change in speed, was kind of like how sometimes we're walking along and snap-to... or do we?

As always, I think a soundtrack makes or breaks a video... good choice.

Very pretty, but didn't have to be over 2 minutes long :)
  • :) You're definitely right about the length. I struggled with that quite a bit, but in the end decided to go with it! I naturally prefer shorter for things like this, but, best to go with the flow when you have it.

I really liked that. It's good for me to see videos like this where people aren't talking are showing technical things. Gotta make more like this myself.

This is thereapuetic stuff, Clarence. I'd disagree with Justin in that I could have watched it for longer, but that is just personal gut feeling.

    Keep it up!

    what camera did you use,
you had the auto focus right,.!
  • Paco, this was captured with a Sanyo Xacti HD1000. It's a pretty solid unit. There is a new one (HD1010) that just released, if you're interested.

if someone walk just by his foot(without shoes) it would be more affective.

  • 'preciate it, Caner :)

Nice work Clarence. I dig it. I wish you had some track and a dolly. a small camera move would have been cool.

Dude! That is really neat. Thanks for sharing. Great concept, allows one to pause and think. You should link it to the Xacti channel or group, this is an excellent example of what the unit can do. Bravo.

Yeah, it sets the mood to sit and think. It's trippy when you look at the way we get around. I saw my shoe!

Nice job from a fellow Xacti user. It's a funner camera, right? I've got a few ideas on some accessories for it...
  • Jake, 'preciate the compliment. What did you have in mind on the accessories?

Wow... beautiful. And at the same time, I'm also criticizing people on their shoes! Shoe choices are an important marker showing what sort of person you are... If they're dirty, choices are you are too. If they're generic, choices are you are too. I always try to go for cute and unique ;)
