Jeeez! This is sooooo much great visualization as well as the music is. That's the title of this?
  • Arnold Marko plus 1 year ago
The music is from The Stroj. A slovenian band, that (sadly) doesn't exist anymore...
  • Leru 1 year ago
hehe yeah I know it's The Stroj (interesting also how people using non-slovenian langiage will read stroJ ;), it's better to write stroY I gues)

But what's the name of this particular song?

Very nice. Can you elaborate a bit on the dimensions? How big is the speaker? Is it just sand on there? How fine is the sand?
  • Arnold Marko plus 1 year ago
The speaker has a diameter around 30 cm. It's sand, but I don't know from which desert exactly (we have several of them)...

reminds me of a higher quality version of gary hill's "soundings" video (on ubu.com/film )..very nice

how come it looks like the speaker membrane is not moving?
    cool stuff
  • Arnold Marko plus 1 year ago
hmmm... interesting observation... maybe because of the large diameter?

I'm wondering if you should do some color editing to it...
  • Arnold Marko plus 1 year ago
i think that in that case i would rather play with the light and materials...

    very cool,
i think you should make one of these sound materialization movies with your hydrophobism liquid, would be cool to see what happens.

Just had a look at gary hill's "soundings" video (on ubu.com/film) as blair neal mentioned indeed very intersting for the time it's been made, but I think that your simplicity together with the excellant matching music is far more inspiring.
