This started as an illustrated children's book measuring 10"x12" closed. The paired pages are 20"x12" ~ a huge canvas to explore! The comic style of the original artwork in the book inspired the name, and I gave it a grunge, rough, vivid look. I've been working on this off and on since fall 2008.
