Deanna Lee is the vice president of communications and marketing at the New York Public Library. This year, she has overseen a multimedia online advocacy campaign, a ten-fold increase in NYPL's Twitter followers, an online-only annual report, and new ways of experiencing collections digitally. She came to communications after a 20-year career in broadcast news, including being a senior producer at ABC World News and overseas producer for ABC Nightline. She is the recipient of eight Emmy Awards.
