One of the highlights of my trip to Terrace, B.C. last fall for CBC's Kraft Hockeyville was sitting down with three legendary hockey players: Bryan Trottier, Ken Morrow, and Stan Smyl. Bryan and Ken work for the New York Islanders, the team they starred with on the way to winning four consecutive Stanley Cups in the 80's. Stan works in the front-office with the Vancouver Canucks, the team he was captain of during that same era. In 1982, the Islanders swept the Canucks in the Stanley Cup final, and there were a lot of memorable moments on both sides of the red line. This piece looks back at them with the three.
